If you purchase 'broken in' E55 from an independent dealer, it probably will still be under the MB new car warranty, and that might be possible. There are companies that sell extended warranties to any car that is still under the original new car warranty. I have seen them on some of the auto websites, but don't exactly remember which site. (carpoint, cars.com, cacars, etc) The dealer with the car should be more familiar with those companies.
