I have 400 miles on the car and recently have noticed that the portion of the driver's seat that is against my back gets very warm even when the heated seats and airscarf are off. This occurs even whe I have not had the heated seats or airscarf turned on so it is not a matter of a cooling off period. This morning the seat back seemed very warm. Do I need to be concerned about this?

I would have it checked soon because heat requires energy and if it is electrical energy you could have a fire hazard in the making. Stick your head down close and smell for any burning smell after you drive. You may have a wire or element shorting out in the seat heater.
