I am looking for the rubber 'grummet' and the plastic piece that it attaches to under the console (see photo). I prefer a used part. Let me know if you have this piece and want to sell it.
Cheers,

The rubber boot PN 123 267 01 97 is cheap new. MSRP $6.00. That is if still available.

Are you asking about the plastic piece that glues to the bottom of the wood? Strange piece. It is not listed as a separate part but it is also not included with the aftermarket wood pieces that are available. I may have one but will have to search.

Hi Rowdie,

Thanks for the info on the part # for the rubber boot! I'll get a new one for $6 one, as mine is torn.

Regarding the plastic piece for underneath, I have it, but its broken. If it needs to be glued from under the wood console, then maybe I can just glue each of the 4 broken pieces. I hope I can find them now...

Here's a picture from last summer with the partly broken plastic piece still on around the shifter.

I am interested in the plastic piece if you can find it. Let me know.

Cheers,
P107

Found it. There is some glue residue but I have just removed what would easily come off and just re-glued with contact cement. No cracks or breaks. I'll get a picture.

Let us know if the rubber boot is still available from MB.

Just to let others know, the plastic piece is boxed and will be mailed to Peter tomorrow. I didn't gouge him too badly. :)

I believe the rubber boot is available from OE Discount, and as I also ordered rubber boots for the door vents, it brought the total cost over $50, so free shipping. However, it seems my online purchase did not go through, so I am in touch with them by email.

OE Discount also had lowest price on those rubber boots for the door vents.

Cheers,

OK, it's installed! I could not get my glue to fasten the plastic to the wood, so I ended up adding three small plastic plates to hold the piece in place. Its going nowhere now. I know how everyone likes photos, so here you go!

Thanks Rowdie for helping out with that special plastic piece!
