While the cars getting an engine overhaul I thought I would start my search for an AMG body kit.
It is for a 1989 SEC 560.
Requirements are
- front lip
- rear lip
- side skirts
So if anyone's got a set anywhere in the UK let me know and we can take it from there
Or even anywhere in Europe for that matter please do get in touch

Good luck. I've been looking for a while. Haven't seen a complete original set that didn't need serious repairs for ages, and even then they want stupid money. It's getting to the point I'm thinking of getting one of these Duraflex kits and seeing if I can make it work.

Funny you mentioning this, I had a similar thought too of finding/using an after-aftermarket set of something that would work but not look tacky

a replica kit is probably the best way forward as to find a genuine kits going to be hard to locate and expensive.

Yes, I came across a few but wanted stupid money .... I don't even mind having a replica ones, I just like that look ..I saw the duraflex ones but they said can't post to the uk ...
Is there anyone else who does replicas ?

I just looked on Duraflex's site, I can't do that until/unless I can get my hands on a Euro front bumper, just recently installed a Euro rear, price seemed reasonable too

I hear ya rush, not in any big hurry here. The Euro rear was from a friend over here but my understanding is the Euro fronts, GenII, are on the rare side over here. Maybe I'll luck up on a parts car with one. Again, no hurry as I think Ursula looks sharp as she sits now and have just a few items needing attention. I'll change the cladding color to white when the time comes

I'm always interested in a good set. I can be on the other side of the channel and back in a day for around 100 Euro. So if it's really good, I can just go pick it up

I notice you have access to this supplier with outlets throughout Europe.
Not sure where they are sourcing the kits from but the Youtube clips and the pics with them fitted up look ok
Make contact and find out a bit more about them as saves any international shipping issues for Europe based W126 owners

It's not what I think I can't get them for ,it depends on what the seller wants ! there is no definitive fixed price !!!!!!
I've seen genuine kits go for 350 GBP
sadly few good cheap ones , I missed out on them ..

So 1300 gbp for after market ones are indeed expensive.. Here is a reasonably priced kit ! Check the item number on eBay

Where have you seen genuine kit(s) for £350?? £350 would only buy you a bumper! Buy a replica kit then just pay they extra on labour to get it fitted right unless your doing it yourself.

Chaz500 has been selling those replica AMG kits for some years and they also would be worth investigating versus the more expensive ones i posted up.
It all depends on what the replica kits are made of ? Standard fibreglass or the more expensive flexible composite (ABS plastic resin that can flex) - supposed to be what duraflex uses in their video clips showing the parts being twisted and not cracking, but i have heard of other companies calling their product flexible but it cracks when bumped or flexed.

Again , you say I can only get a bumper but like I said its the sellers choice ...
Check German eBay regularly and I have come across 2 sets around 350-400 GBP
