I'm transplanting a 1968 W108 280S engine / trans into 1967 W108 250S body and also some of the accessories. The 250S came without engine, trans, radiator, etc. I have discovered that the radiator from the 280S is sized for an entirely different opening than the opening in the 250S. I am looking for suggestions as to what to do. I can either:

a) find a 1967 250 S / SE and salvage the parts (difficult but not impossible to find)

or

b) modify the 250 S to have a bigger opening (which I don't want to do given that the car is not going to be re-painted

or

c) have something built???

thanks

Bump. I'm still looking for a radiator, trans cooler, oil cooler for a W108 250 S / SE. I drove to Fairfield CA (400 miles) (I was going to SF anyway) because Pic-n-pull had a 250 S on the lot but it unfortunately was missing radiator.

Anyone know of a 108 250 S/SE parts car?

thanks

EPC has a long list of part numbers for the radiator:

1085000003
1085000203
1085000403
1408500103
1085000303
1085000503
1085000903

In particular it is NOT

108501*
