I've always thought my 79 300TD sat pretty low to the ground, more in the front even than the back. Even after i put new shocks and springs all around. But my "new" 80 wagon really sits high. There is almost a 4inch difference in the fender height between the two cars. Now the only I've found yet is that the80 has P75's insteed of P70's on her, but that shouldn't make that much dif, should it?
Anyway, if anyone's got any idea let me know.
Thankx.

Did you buy gas charged shocks?

I bought a set of KYB GR-2s for my Audi 4000. Turned out that most gas shocks tend to raise the car up a couple of inches, which was good in the case of the Audi, because the thing always scraped against the ground. If the shocks and springs you bought are not OEM, then I would expect a little height difference, your new tires could have added to that effect.

My 80 wagon sits very nice- level and low but not overly so. My 82 is very high in the front and nearly every other wagon I've seen is the same- high in the front. Only the 79-80's seems to sit level.
