I'm in the process of replacing my exhaust-melted backup light. On my wagon, the backup lights are bolted to these curved pieces of aluminum that are just floating loose in the cutout in the bumper. With the undamaged lights bolted to them there is not enough room for them to come out, but are they supposed to be just floating around in there?
