"Mercedes Benz Garage" in Bellevue. They're on NE 20th St off of 520 heading east.
Ask for "Adam". He's a good guy, very straight up, reasonable in price. He'll tell you as much as you want to know about what he plans to do and he'll lay out your options so you can decide. Google the name up, other folks have had a positive experience with him also.
One more recommendation for Adam and his team at Mercedes Garage. First class service, but at reasonable rates. I give them high marks for honesty, integrity and knowledge.
The first time I was in there they were doing a pre-purchase inspection on a used car for me and another customer told me Adam is the kind of mechanic that makes you want to own a Mercedes just because you know your problems will be taken care of. I agree completely.

Located in the northeast corner of Apple Tree Plaza, across the street from BMW of Bellevue, inbetween Acura and Park Place Motors.
I don't know what kool aid everyone is drinking but my personal experience at Mercedes garage was mediocre at best, I got better service from Mercedes of Bellevue. BTW, cost savings were minimal and not worth it for me.
I have just had Barrier MB replace Alternator & one of the SAM units on 2006 SL500. Cost $1756 !! thats for a $300 alternator & a $250 SAM unit so I will try the guy Adam on Northup Way.

I have recently acquired an E320 cabriolet, and was referred to Frank Schmitt by my chiropractor, who has used him many years for several Mercedes vehicles owned by his wife and himself. Highest praise for integrity, know how and honesty. Delighted to have this info, and hope it helps others, also.
I'm giving Frank a try myself for my recently acquired C107. Turns out his 'new' shop is 5 minutes from my house, so the convenience factor couldn't be any higher.
Frank has worked on my cars (too many to count) for over 20 years. You will not be disappointed. One of the last honest mechanics on planet earth. Mike
