ok guys, I have A late (july) 2009 , S550 4matic that since a accident and rebuild of front bumper ,grill ,headlights etc transmission seems to slip allot . I flushed the nasty black fluid, replaced filter and gasket. Now slips more often. I considered a few options. But am told. My tranny is the latest version and not only has the conductor plate, but also requires mercedes dealers only to do any service to the giant valve body. That the likely-hood my tranny needs repairs similar to the old 2003 to 2008 ones is very slim to none. That if I had flushed properly, all old out and all new in, there shouldn't be any issue. Any thoughts. Fyi during filter change no metal or shavings of any kind was found amongst the fluid and magnets inside pan.

Are you confident that the transmission fluid level is adjusted properly? Too low, starves fluid until heat up. Too high and it froths.
