Hello, i need some advice because i have problem with W221 from 2007.

1. Does keyless-go keys have a memory for seats/stering column and mirrors?

In the instruction is written that key has a 3 individual profile but when i use first or second key is no diferent when push 1, 2 or 3 memory button.

2. When is select in Command Easy Entry/Exit function i can select: off, stering column or stering column and seats - but when i select stering column or stering column and seats for about 2-3 sec. automatically goes to off.

Any one can help?

Maybe someone have information witch option in witch ecus must be settings to this function working (from DAS or Vediamo)?

1. No, not that I am aware of. The owner's manual does not mention this feature. You have to press the memory button 1, 2, or 3. (Sidenote - on my Jaguar, it does this. So I have to label the key for me and the other for my wife. When I unlock the door with the remote, the seat, mirrors, and steering it goes to my preference. When my wife uses her key remote, it moves those things to her position.)

2. It means there is something wrong with your steering column mechanism. Either the position sensor(s) or motor(s) are faulty and the computer module has detected this situation. There are two modules controlling the steering column, the Front SAM control module (left rear engine compartment) and the steering column module (top of the steering column). It is also possible a module is faulty. This module resets itself when restarting the car. When it encounters the fault again, it will stop again after a couple of seconds.

When you see this similar behavior in other electrical systems (ie. seat adjustment, mirror adjustment, door locks, etc.) you know something is wrong with the system. Many times, it is the motor that is worn out but not dead, but it pulls too much electric current which is detected by the module and tells you that it needs to be replaced. The best way to find out for sure is to put a Mercedes scanner on it to see what it says.

Thank you for your answer, but you don't understand me well.

My steering column works perfectly - only the easy entry function does not work, there are 0 errors in the car. In the seat module, i can see what is the reason for the inactivity of the easy entry function and it says there that the function is not active in the instrument cluster, but in W221 this function has nothing to do with the instrument cluster.

I need a scan from a short test from DAS (to see HW and SW numbers) and coding (preferably from VEDIAMO) from such a car for comparison.

Regards.
