UPDATE: This is an update to the original post on 11-Jan-2020. Please be aware that your local Mercedes-Benz dealer has been supplied with this update, so the ISO has been removed and you are encouraged to contact your local Mercedes-Benz dealer to obtain this update and contact them to determine how to arrange for them to perform this update for you. You can inquire regarding the cost, if any, to have this performed. Thank you!
I am happy to report that the video and accompanied instructions to fix your date/time/clock adjust issue in the W221/C216 S-Class and CL-Class with the NTG 3.0 and some countries with the NTG 3.5 is now Daimler's official fix for this problem. This should give reassurance to those who may be apprehensive to try it, and now you should be able to visit your dealer to have it carried out, although you will want to have them quote the service before scheduling it to verify the charge, in which there may not be any. To prove the file they are distributing is the same file I posted a while back, I performed an MD5 hash on each file, and it was clear they were an exact match, although their filename is named slightly different. This is provided to their technicians at their dealerships and is NOT available to download from Daimler directly, however, there is still a link to it in the YouTube video showing how to perform the procedure. Also, I have attached the Xentry TIPS document describing the issue and the resolution that is provided to the dealer technicians as well as the proof the files are identical. Hopefully this will give some peace of mind to ones unsure of installing an "unofficial" release, because as of 1/2/2020 it is now an official release!
