My New 47k km only CL55 2004. I bought it as is but the first thing to do is changing

the rims.

My 2005 CL500. Flint Gray with Ash interior. 51K very gentle miles. Have had since 8-21 and no real issues. One of the prettiest cars Ive owned.

I just joined BenzWorld and am eager to share more. This pic is of the back of an envelope on which an MB designer sketched a proposal for what would become the C215. Info at bottom of envelope gives info of where and when sketch was done but not the year. Must have been around 1996 or 97 for a 2000 MY car. Amazing to me how close it is to the production car. Designer said he was influenced by Jaguar...fine with me since

that resulted in the beautiful, sensual car many of us admire.

Sketches on the back of envelopes seem like legends but here we know it happened. The designer was on a very long flight to Australia. Have read this was the most extreme proposal but was the one selected. So glad they went for beautiful at all costs. Must have cost a lot to manufacture that perfect roof line with no rain gutters.

Unsure, I spent £7700 on the car 10 months ago and the insurance is only willing to pay out £3900. If I decide to keep the car, they will deduct another £1500.

The car does need new back cats, and by the time I get another bonnet, bumper, and grille and get them painted (along with the back bumper also received minor damage), I thought it would work out cheaper just to purchase another car.
