Just bought my first CL.
03 CL500 with AMG package.
61k original miles, drives like a brand new car.
I was lucky enough to get a keyless go card with it. Awesome to get in and just press a button to start.

I've overcome a few common interior problems (wheel switches, cup holders, etc) which I'll post about later.
Had front windows tinted already.
No Nav CDs included with it. Confused about the right ones to get.
Need to get it detailed, lots of spider webs.
New Bridgestone Comp2 A/S tires on it make it ride even sweeter.

I also want to do something with the exhaust. The car has 4 cats. I tried having the mufflers removed but then it got too loud. Had them welded right back on.
Anyway I'll post all this in a proper thread.

Hello all,

I have modified my CL by adding various parts sourced from various online parts shop. The main idea behind this project was to enhance the look of my car as I believe the CL55 design is not sporty enough and make my car look like "factory produced" i.e not modified......The car also had a Weistec stage 3 improvement and a modified exhaust.......580bhp!!!
The sound is amazing and apart from the Weistec upgrade, the bodykit modifications didn't cost much....

My CL500 2003

Hi, this is my 2003 CL500, purchased in Oct last year.

Since I have had the corrosion fixed. Total respray, new wheels, new sound system installed (by me)... oh and a new plate.

Thinking of having the engine re built (160,000 miles) or find a AMG lump... thoughts?
