I am for sure especially after the experience on the R129 forum that has a pic sticky and it's very nice and helpful to get new ideas when you want to mod your car .

Your Welcome! I thought it was a very dark brown cause of the light.

Ah, I see..

Well, the color is actually a dark purple.
But could probably be mistaken for both black or brown in cloudy/bad weather (Like in the pictures )

I don't think it's a very common color for the CL.
They were mostly delivered in black/silver.
