Dear Benzers,

My trusty W212 E300 has gone to the calibration center (Spooring and re-balancing) for the third time this month due to the tendency of the car to drift to the left during motion. The mechanics suggested adding another ring to counteract that tendency but it never last long and the car will sway to the left again (steering also felt heavier). Please kindly share your experiences and solutions/reccomendations.

What is the ring thing?I had bad experiences with multiple shops trying to align my old 126 until I found advice on the forum to go to a shop advertising 4 wheel alignment using a Hunter machine. It was a completely different car after that. MB dealers can do the same thing, not that I'd trust them for anything else.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
