Hi all,

I live in Singapore and the W212 cars here are delivered with just single fog lights on each side (under the main lamps) instead of the double rounds ones found else where.

I have manged to buy the complete lamps for the fog and DRL. question is how difficult is it to replace them? Does the bumper need to be removed or can they be accessed from under?

not sure if the stock wiring is already there or not, and if any software needs to be programmed either.

thanks for any asssitance.

You have to remove the front engine panel from the bottom and pry off the fender liner a bit to reach the fog lamp assembly for removal and installation.

I don't know about the wiring but it would not be a surprise if there was none. You might be able to activate lights by version coding but more likely this is an SCN coded feature which may give you a lot of headache.
