The w212 E-class will be my next Merc in a few years, and I'm pretty excited about it, though no info is 'officially' available yet.

At this link, under the section "help for the driver," I'm wondering what source this publication received their technical info from.

The technologies listed there (traffic sign identification, tire wear, ESP with crosswind detection, lane departure, driver fatigue) sound very cool and interest me, and I have no doubt that Mercedes is probably working on them, but do any of you have knowledge as to whether or not the w212 will actually debut with them all?

I know that there have been a few reports of Mercedes working on a driver fatigue system that uses heart beat sensors, but I wouldn't have thought that it would be ready in time for the w212 launch.

Does anyone have any solid, trust worthy sources on w212 tech info?

I am sure that some of the techs you mentioned are in serious consideration since Infiniti, Lexus and even Volvo have some already incorporated into their newer cars.
