Hoping someone might be able to help me out! 2012 W212. AC unit was working without issue and then the battery died. Car sat for a few months until I put the new battery in. "Coincidentally" AC stopped blowing cold air. When you press the AC button the LED turns red, flashes three times, then turns off. All other ventilation works and heat works.
I read online about a potential climate control reset by holding down ventilation button and recirculated air buttons but this did nothing. Wondering if there is a different procedure for W212.
Here is the type of climate panel that the car has - https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/grQAAOSwHzheevgT/s-l640.jpg
I am thinking a fuse needs to be replaced or reset but could not find any fuse guides online that indicated which fuse to remove for this AC function. I see AC Heating mentioned but not cooling.
Given that this issue coincidences with the battery replacement, it seems highly improbable that there is a line leak or anything else. Looking to do a climate control reset or replace a fuse. Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated!
