W211CLUB Thailand was founded on July, 19, 2004. To date, there are about 15 member cars. We've only met twice so far. We see a lot of modified W211 in Bangkok but we couldn't get in touch with the owner. Both times we joined other Benz Clubs like the W123/W124/C-Class. We hope to have more members in the future. You can check out our club at http://www.mercedesmania.com/w211club.htm
The webpages aren't all done yet, but the webboard has been working for a while.
Most W211 in Thailand are E220CDi, E200 Kompressor and E240 (2.6) and E270CDi. There are a few factory E55AMG and some owners have converted their E220CDi and E200KOM into E55AMG (including the interior/suspension/engine/body parts). Many owners opt for 19 inch wheels, I've personally seen one with 20 inch wheels. But for now, most people stick with 16 or 17 inch factory wheels cuz of the 3-year free parts and labor warranty. Once the warranty are up, I'm sure there'll be a lot of lowerings and 19 inches.
You are welcome to visit our webboard and take a look at our pictures. You could post there in English if you want to.
