Since I have much more in common with you guys than with m112 engines I decided to post here:)

So I am having some stalling with my engine and I have decided its my cps sensor however when I was changing my auxiliary fans I tried looking for the location of CPS sensor and I couldn't see it. So please if anyone changed it before and/or has WIS instruction that would help me put that bad boy in. It's coming from states on August 9 do I have this time to locate it:)

Thanks in advance

The CPS is on top of the bellhousing by the oil filter housing.

Have you verified that your car is free from the dreaded eco junk wiring, including the ETA???

Check the harness build date tag and the code on the ETA. If either were made before 1998, you still have eco junk wiring. These cars are nearly impossible to troubleshoot electrically unitl the eco junk wiring has been replaced.

You need to look at your actual manufacture date.
Depending on the market, the problematic wiring for W210's was corrected in December 1996.
Even though your car might be a "97" model it may have been manufactured before the wiring issue was changed.

On the M104 engine you can see the CPS from underneed the car. I don't need to replace mine yet, but curiosity after read too many post just look and find it from underneed. Just note I'm small oriental guy though, might be better if the car's on the lift/hoist if you're bigger than me.
