I saw a w210 E60 AMG car at my local dealer for some servicing, and I wondered if anyone has seen or known such an AMG model to exist. I am also curious to know the hp or torque specifications of this car. Your insight and comments are welcomed.[]

No it did not have a V12...

Apparently it had a V-8, and I wondered if AMG ever made a 6.0 liter V8? Or maybe the person who owned this car was just full of beans with a fake moniker?! But the car was decked out cosmetically inside and out, and the mechanic working on it did tell me it was an AMG model... hmmm? Oh well...

Normally, when you see an AMG with a non-familiar model designation, such as (E60) or (E74), the owner of the car had his block bored out, a method used by serious tuners to increase displacement on aluminim blocks.

Where are you located? I know a guy near Long Island that has an E60. Its a black E55 bored to 6 liters and its supercharged. One mean machine. He has video footage on Autostream.com of him doing about 160mph next to a Callaway Vette along with numerous other law-abusing acts. Very entertaining.

AMG did produce an E60 model on request.
it has the 5.5 V8, bored to 6.0 litres,

I searched the net, and all I could find was these two pics.

The newer ones with the M119 made 380 hp, the older oned in the W124 and W210 E50(pre-facelift) were the meaner M117 engines, which were 400hp/400lb./ft. Someone said they were also 400 cu. inch, but they were on crack, 6.0 liters is 360 cu. inches.

I bought a 1996 E60 from the VP of AMG and brought it over from Germany. Simply put, It's a MONSTER!!!
