w208 COMAND auxiliary input or MP3 CDs?

Hello all...

I just picked up an '02 CLK55 AMG with COMAND this past week (wheeeeee!!! [}

])

I notice the COMAND unit does have one extra unlabeled button. Is this for auxiliary input? If so, where is the input?

If not...is there a version of the COMAND software that will play MP3 CDs? Radio sucks! {grin}

I believe there might be an aux input in your glovebox. Check that out.

The unlabeled button is just a place holder for the Euro-spec TV Tuner option. If you don't already have one, you can add an AUX input into your glove box. This can be accessed by pushing "Sys" then navigating to "Aux." There is no version of COMAND 2.0 that will play MP3 CD's.

Different vehicle -- but I have an '06 C-Class wih COMAND navigation, without premium audio. My unit does not play MP3 CDs.

You were talking about COMAND software being MP3 CD capable or not. I know there are versions of my head unit that play MP3 CDs so if there is a software fix out there, how do I find it and install it?

Any help is much appreciated.

You said you found the Aux Input on the 2002 CLK55 AMG Command? Where was it please. Your help would be greatly appreciated!! I just picked up one this week.

Hi all,
I just picked up a 202 CLK55AMG this week. Still bonding with it but it appears to be a nice automobile. I think I saw that some of you found the AUX input on the Command. Please share the details. Where is it located and how do I access the AUX line in. Thanks!!
