Hi All,

I've recently received a low coolant warning on the dashboard. By looking at the coolant tank, it definitely require a top up.

So, i browser through the owner's manual to find the specific coolant to buy..well it didn't help much  so i decided to do my own research. Here's my findings:-

1) I saw this guy on youtube top up his w205 coolant using Mercedes G40 anti freeze from Merc.
-

2) Should i top up using Zerex G40?
- Zerex G-40 - Valvoline™ Global

3) Our local market store has this voltronic. I didn't buy it...since the coolant colour is blue/green.
- R30 Coolant AN

Should i just approach mercedes service centre or should i just top it up myself?

If it still has the genuine MB coolant in it just stick with it.
If your coolant has become low you will have a leak somewhere so keep an eye out for it. If it’s leaking onto a hot exhaust you may never see it but you should smell it.

I came across this statement
"Mercedes-Benz has only used two different types of coolants in their cars, SUVs, and vans. A blue or pink-violet color coolant. Up to the manufacture date of April 2014 most Mercedes-Benz engines used the blue MB 325.0 and MB 326.0 specification coolant. After April of 2014, Mercedes started using the pink-violet MB 325.5 MB 325.6 coolant specification. "

Quick update, probably going to use CHAMPION Coolant G13. Will do a full flush beforehand.
