Hello everyone!
This is my first post on the forum but a long time viewer and I need some help and who better to ask then all the lads part of Benz World.

I drive a c63 AMG and my car was shaking when braking so a mechanic told me it was my rotors after inspecting the car. Attached is the quote he gave me...MADNESS! But what can do you.

After searching the forums I’ve seen the website Mercedes-Benz OEM Parts | Get Mercedes Parts.
Basically I wish to get all the required parts off the invoice off this website instead but there’s so many brake options I’m not sure what to get!

If anyone can help me out that’d be awesome and if you got a question I’ll for sure get back.
Happy new year everyone

1) the W204 does not have a ceramic brake Option

2) if you have the performance pack they come with 2 piece rotors

3) you don't have to get #2 , get the regular C63 rotors and get aftermarket and save the tons of cash

The difference is a little added weight...not much

Next do the labor yourself and save even more- there are videos on YouTube

Haha correct. Some reason I thought we had ceramic brakes over this side of the world. But the 2 piece does cost an arm and leg!!

Thanks for the reply ! So basically this guy is trying to screw me over ??!! My intentions were to order them like you said and just pay for the labour or learn to do it myself I have done many other things myself. So your saying get the rotors and what else?
Thanks again boss!

Have a look at fcpeuro.com
Put in your car's details and it will display suitable parts ..
All you need is rotors and pads to suit your car.
You can re-use the wear sensors..
You may need some tools , torx bits ,,torque wrench and a brake piston spreader suitable for the six piston calipers.

Note, that is for front only. You need another set for rear. Front and rear are different size.

Also , you don't need to use genuine MB pads..you can save some $ if you buy other brands. Up to you. MB don't make pads anyway,,they are made by others.
Pagid , Jurid , TRW are good and are oem.
When I did mine I bought Brembo rotors from FCPeuro ,,but I bought the pads here in Australia ,,,Bendix brand which are also good quality pads.

I saw the reference to Autodoc here. Don't do it! I've just had the worst experience with them, of any parts company I've ever used.
Seriously, like some kind of long drawn out joke at my expense.
Eventually got my money back, minus postage.
Unbelievable, I don't understand how they can trade like this and get away with it.

I live in Dallas Texas and had a whole set (rotors and pads) done on my 2014 C3 done for US$1,700 ... parts and labor. You really don't save that much money by skipping the rotors, but you need to find out the thickness spec and mic them if you are going to do it yourself.

BTW, my mechanic told me that ceramics were available on my model. Fortunately it does not have them as those would have been around US$5K!
