I'm completing the pogo lock repair, and I need to re-rivet the window regulator and airbag. I forgot to order OEM rivets, and the closest dealer is a two-hour round trip. I assume any steel rivet should be OK, but I can't seem to find any around that have the same grip range.

Part Number: 003-990-24-97
Diameter: 3/16"
Flange: 3/8"
Grip: 1/16" to 1/8"

I found Dorman ones locally, but the smallest grip range is 1/8" to 1/4". Am I going to have a problem getting these to grip tightly enough? Or, does anyone know where I could by the right size from a national parts chain?

Found some, but they're aluminum. I know OEM is steel and aluminum is more brittle, but am I taking my life in my hands if I just go ahead and use these?
