Hi guys

I have a W202 that is taking long to crank. I try to start the car and all i hear is dead silence, i have keep trying over and over then its cranks and starts. I took the car for diagnostics but the machine used didn't detect any fault. From mech experience he suspects replacement of the Overvoltage Protection Relay (OPR). Not sure whether this will resolve issue consisering the diagnostics machine didnt pick any errors with it......

Will appreciate your assistance.

Check the basics first such as the plugs, condition of wiring, fuel filter, and fuel pressure.
As mentioned, not much info given.
Might want to fill out your heading/profile such as year etc. B

Thanks for the tips, which relay in particular are you referring to. Replaced K38 & fuel pump but issue is still persistent. Want to check on starter as well as the ignition lock.
