I've seen some w201 with hoods (or is it grills; what's the difference?) from w126 SEC. Can you tell me how come a hood from a big car like 126 fits on a small mercedes like 201? I would appreciate any info, thanx!

The chrome grill surrounds on the 190E are bolted onto the hood, making them candidates for swaps and modfications. There are SL/SLC kits that put the MB sport grills on the hood, covering the foglights, however the popular modifcation is to weld a C-Class grill onto the front of a 190E hood and then have the body shop smooth things over for an updated look.
