I can't find any definitive answer:

Which of these cars has the best transmissions that I can get the MOST miles from? Is there any particular transmission that's known to last a very long time before a rebuild?

I want the most trouble-free and reliable model out of the three, and I'm having a hard time deciding which car is best. I know they are all great cars in their own way, but I'm looking for the best dependability and least possibility of a transmission rebuild, while getting the best combination of fuel economy, practicality and reliability.

I like the modernness of the W202 but don't mind the older feel of the other cars either. I just want to make the best choice when it comes to reliability. I didn't have any major issues with my C220, but I can probably find a better deal on another car.

Well, obviously you're not experienced enough to actually have a reply.
