Can anyone please help me decode me W201 VIN number?

I have searched high and low with no success and I have also been told that Mercedes has lost all the data cards making impossible for me to get some information about my car.

I basically want to find the auto transmission number and few other thing about my model.

My VIN number is

WDB2010242F068513

Looking it up on the EPC - it does not appear to be a VIN that is recognized. The EPC recognizes my car's vin when I input it in exactly the same format (WDB - 201028XXYYYYYY) However, for your car it just displays an X over the data card, and does not allow me to look anything up.

I'm not sure what this means.

EDIT: It is a valid VIN however. Changing any of the characters after the 201024 part messes with the checksum. Just no data on the car from the EPC.

1984BabyBenz: I went to the Russian site you showed and got nothing except an empty page. I wonder if everyone else gets the same result?

It works for me as well, but there are a few errors on the page, it says I have an AMG Drivers package, and a few other things.

For anyone who cant decode their VIN.

Go to to the Classic Car web site Mercedes-Benz Classic Home - Classic - Classic Center and send them an E-mail and they will send you back your data card for free.

I just did it and they replied back within a couple of days.

Very helpful :D
I sent them an email request and they told me:

"Thank you for your interest in a vehicle data card for your Mercedes-Benz.

We thank you for your understanding that, effective immediately, we can only offer this service via the Mercedes-Benz sales and service network."

Is there another source?
