Hello everyone, Wilhelm here and I'm about to rip my hair out lol,

So here's the problem I need help with, I have a 1990 mercedes benz 190e 2.6 and my center console lighting doesn't work whatsoever the window switches, hazards switch, power mirror adjustment, fader and all of climate controls are dark. I have checked bulbs they are fine, fuses again they are fine, so now what lol went to the service center they told me the 190e doesn't have lighted window switches, Idiots! So now I'm really stuck I know I must be missing something, Another fuse perhaps? Also it should be said that everything works as it should And gauge cluster illumination works well. Only thing that raises an I brow is the passenger window fuse blows occasionally Don't know if that's worth mentioning, someone out there has to know something, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bulbs... NO

Its not your bulbs, It is a fuse that is located in the instrument cluster its called a fuse element part #201-546-00-25 runs like 3 bucks from benz, but you have to remove the instrument cluster which is no fun at all. basically you have to remove the speedo cable from rear to get the cluster out to get to it. takes about an hour wen you know what you are doing.

Danke, I was getting ready to lose it by happy coincidence I already have my cluster out (upgrading to led's) ound the blown fuse, replaced it and the thing lights up like a Christmas tree! Yay now to start the task of changing all the switch bulbs out for cool white led's :)
