Its hard to tell the condition as they are so dirty. I agree with what your saying but would like slightly larger than my 17" wheels but not going over the top. I believe these are stock rims off a w164 they shouldn't be too bad with higher profile tyres.

Hi!

was thinking of getting some slightly bigger wheels on my w163 nothing over the top and came across this on ebay
19 inch Alloy Wheels 5 spoke 5x112 with spacers ( mercedes part no A1644011402) | eBay

Quite local but wondering if it will be worth it as the tyres will all need changing for 255/50/19 i believe?
Changing rims on an ML is primarily cosmetic. Whether it's "worth it" is subjective. It's your money! I would tend to avoid a rim that required a spacer, but if you like the look of those rims, you may have no choice but to use them. You should check the offset of the rims.

And don't forget to look at the cost of the tires for this upgrade. I found a couple of sets of 19 alloys for cheap, then priced out the rubber. That bit is definitely not. Put it this way set of 4 AMG alloys for $250, then each tire was $1200.

OEM wheels -- chromed

Those look like OEM ML wheels (newer model) that have been chromed. Previous owner had them on a Galaxy, hence the spacers, but you won't need them for your ML. You will however need longer lugs.
