A lot of people have never driven a '95 S coupe, let alone the V12 lol. I would definitely change the brake switch before the n4/1 n16/1 modules; a defective switch will set some wierd codes.

Welcome!

Let's get some things straight, first off.

You have a car that was bought in 1995 for the equivelent of roughly $200,000 in today's dollars. You have in your possession a car whose value new was equal to a fully equipped Bentley Continental GT today.

The fact that they are valued LESS than $200,000 is something the market has decided, but assuming you paid less than $200k for your 1995 S600 Coupe, gives you some room to get the thing fixed.

Any other questions?

I like you stryker,, thats what I said ! First off my friend (clueless with money) looks under the car and the cat's are red hot so he gets a touch and cuts out the cat's not even nicely. Ask around for 02, lamdba sensors told $300 apeice found the fronts for $125 rears $100ea pretty sure there OEM parts. . Jo

We love w140's here and think it the best car in the world, and im sure you will too and grow a relationship with your coupe as this is no regular car and cars like this would sell for about a maybach as that's the only car that the money and time has been spent on close to the w140. also Hi

You can read up on the w140 here and about its history and greatness: Mercedes-Benz W140 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

you should post some pics. I think you should repair the beauty that you have. over 1 billion spent in research and development. quality beyond comparison, attention to detail. v12 = reliable, fast, long lasting high mileage car. how many miles. keeeeep it:eek:

"However, not the the aesthetic masterpiece you might have expected for a billion dollars, but all of them, and this one in particular, justifies it's price through sheer attention to detail." -Jeremy Clarkson
