I have a W140 Service Manual for sale. It Covers engines 119, 120. It is only for the sedan not the coupe models. The manual itself is over 500 pages in length and I am willing to offer free federal express priority overnight shipping.

god damn photocopies?

Hey buddy, you are selling factory service manuals and shipping photocopies. These aren't the same thing. Not to mention violating copyright laws you do a disservice to all enthusiast web boards. If I knew where you lived I would piss on your doorstep.

Kindly, Lawrence.
Re: god damn photocopies?

I seem to be caught in the middle of a pissing contest here. I am interested in purchasing a set of manuals (orig. equip.) for a 1996 s 600 thAt I just purchased. I don't want to fight, &*$#, )%#@& or anything else, I was only looking for someone who might have a set, and be willing to part with them. There is another Mercedes site where this sort of thing isn't allowed. Guess I'd better go back. REGARDS_______HARRY
Re: god damn photocopies?

It isn't a pissing contest. Buyers need to be alerted that the goods they are paying for are misrepresented. I sourced the said manual for a friend of mine, and he was less than happy recieving bound photocopies of some MB information that had references to the CD Rom. I believe the case is that printed factory manuals for the later Mercedes models don't exist, and the only versions are on CDROM. Not sure about that, but what I am sure about, is that selling photocopies as factory manuals is fraudulant. So buy them, but know what you are getting, and pay the fair price.

By the way I had some pre-war manuals for Lucas parts for British cars. The actual manuals are unavailble, and I photocopied mine and sold them. People knew what they were getting, and I charged $25 for my trouble.

This guy doesn't think that his customers deserve the same courtesy. Thoughtyou might want to know.

Regards, Lawrence.
Re: god damn photocopies?

I bought one of his and it was only a photocopy. The manual was worthless. Its 500 pages of technicle oversight 'thats all'. If you are buying one to work on your car forget it!
Re: god damn photocopies?
