Please tell me which pieces you need? BTW, My S600 is sedan. There may be some matching parts, but I'm not sure.

Fellas, I have a donor 96 S600 and I'm stripping it for parts. Please tell me if you need a gas tank? Its's large. It's still on the car. I already removed lots of stuff from the trunk, but few items left including the gas tank.

If your left luminous band doesn’t have the pink tinting problem, I’d be interested. I have the right band on order (new OEM) and it would be essential for me to have the two bands appear the same.
There are other parts I might be interested in buying off you too. You’ve got the same car as me.

The problem is that the harness is not available anywhere I have looked. My options are to have a harness fabricated (mucho dinero) or get rid of my car. Any opinions?

Also I need to know how to access the rear window motor.

I replaced the harness on my '95 S500 coupe many years ago and I remember most of the bad parts were the sections subjected to the most heat on the intake manifold; wires to injectors throttle body and sensors. You might consider repairing only those sections as it wouldn't be as involved or expensive. As for the regulator, here is a link to a thread. Post #4 jal1224 provides information from the service manual. I used it to lube the regulators on mine. Not an easy job; give yourself time. There are other helpful threads, employ the search. Good luck.

44k Miles
1 year old Michelins on AMG Monoblocks.
New Headliner
New Engine and Motor mounts
New AC controller
New brakes
Several New Suspension bits
Some replaced interior trim bits
New door latches/locks

I would say this car is 90% of the way to being brand new. Needs a couple ore plastic interior trim pieces (small). Needs replacement rear shock mounts

Currently looking for $21k. Open to negotiation.

I replaced it several years ago as a precaution as my car seems to run a little warm, but a new MB radiator did not change the running temps at all so I know this one is fine. MB part number 140 500 14 03. Free and if you're close enough to Springfield MO I'll even ship for free rather than throw away a perfectly good radiator.
