Well the seller just says it came off a 300se and I don't know anything about w126s :dunno:I have a set of 16x8 inch 129 wheels on mine now, with 225/50r16's they rub in the front, but I have just recently purchased this car, and it does need some work. So I have some 204 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 that I will be putting on it, I think that is a better wheel choice.
Oh and 89 126024 came with 15x6.5 not 16's part number is 126 400 41 02.
Please excuse the condition, and the quality, crappy camera phone pic. this is the first day I bought the car...lolWell the seller just says it came off a 300se and I don't know anything about w126s :dunno:
do you have pictures?
Do you have any pictures of the side of the car so I can actually see the wheels? Please excuse the condition, and the quality, crappy camera phone pic. this is the first day I bought the car...lol
None of the tires held air and the rims were very corroded. I dont have any pics of it with the 17's yet, as I am waiting on the tires.

[email protected]Not on this computer, I am heading out of town in about 15 mins, I will be back on Monday and I will post some then, sorry.
Actually I have some still on the phone, what is your email, and I will send then to you that way.
well the stock wheels are quite far into the car.. so lower offset wouldn't be too bad. Although.. a jump from 40ish to 11ish is quite big.. would it look weird though? Could I just roll the fenders? The offset on the W126 wheels is going to be too low for decent use on a W201. Some of them had offsets in the 11's and 'teens, while the W201 is up in the 40's
