W126 -> W220 engine transplant !
calling all mechs:
Hi , I am a 560SEL fan but I recently saw an advertisement in the auto auctions for a mercedes benz w220 ( the current model s-class) with an engine burn for very cheap. Supposedly, the entire outside and inside body is in good condition however the engine does not work. Are any of you mechanics here know if I can transplant my 560SEL engine into the W220 and use it as a daily driver ?? I heard its not that hard to take out a mercedes engine. Please respond thanks !
