Thanks Luke, it sure does look like a Zender. The spoiler does give the SEC a muscle car look.

HMMMM not ashamed of the Koening Wing n the convertible now.....

Boy here i am ages later still mucking around with rear spoilers
I landed this Lorinser W126 specific one just recently from overseas
It might just suit the white coupe once painted the correct 147 Arctic white body colour
(its more an off-white cream type colour and looks a bit odd in this dummy fit when not blending with my paint)

Forget the mis-match colour and assume its painted arctic white.
What do you guys think about this style

Note:
I am still chasing a a proper AMG Gen2 larger widebody type for my black coupe or even a replica of the original if anybody can help out please!!!!

I don't really care for this style. I prefer something that goes the width of the car, rather than just the trunk.

Point taken
The only spoiler that did so was the small gen2 AMG lip one and the Zender which had drop down wings each side (see earlier pics in this thread)
I don't care much for the Zender (of which i have one) as they look too skinny for my liking in side profile width

Sorry, looks like a Prelude. My preference is none but if I had to chose, I'd go understated. The SEC lines are already beautiful.

I happen to have a real AMG high wing like you are looking for - It came with my 560sec - a non AMG car it just had the wing. I've spent a great deal of time repairing the surface as the paint was cracked badly from a hail storm (as was the car). I waver back and forth if I like or dislike it. As I'm fitting an AMG body kit I think I'll try it. Mine happens to have the integrated third brake light and when I got it it had a broken lens... what a pain to track that down but found it was actually a front turn signal unit from a gen 1 VW Rabbit/Golf but with a red lens. I was able to find some modern clear lens units and paint the clear to red with VHT red lens paint - worked really well.
Do you happen to know what the real AMG units are fetching nowadays - $$$???
Just thought I'd pass along the learnings I had about the 3rd brake light unit in case you happen to ever need the info and I'll keep you informed if I ever choose to remove mine for sale. Hell... I might sell the whole car once its finished!!! Good luck in your search.

Yes the ducktail version does look pretty good especially on darker duco and i know it is a favorite choice with many who like spoilers.

Here is a side by side pic the AMG centre tail light (3rd Brake Light) version versus the Lorinser version

The fact that u found a old thread shows that u did a search.... Which is applauded

If u had made a new thread the sticklers here would have asked u to do a search....

To answer your question... I dunno... There's what we find on eBay mostly

The only aftermarket copy version that appears to be around on ebay, amazon etc is the duck-tail style.
Wind forward some yrs from when that thread was started i did manage to source the genuine AMG wing for all my cars but it was not easy to find them

Replicas they say.. Hard to tell how it matches the original from their crapy pics
