W126 Seats in W123? Can it be done??

My friend has a W123 and she needs new front seats for her 84 240D in Palomino. I have found a set of W126 seats out of an 87 560SEL that the breaker yard 'thinks' will fit. Has anyone had experience with a switch like this? Is is a straight unbolt/bolt or can it be done with reasonable mods?
