I had several calendars back from when I collected Mopars, a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T plum crazy, authentic 440+6 4-spd shaker before I sold it. These calendars were GREAT high quality color - members submitted pics of their cars for calendars.

We need the same for our cars!

Submissions here, maybe someone with printing experience can chime in and do a small run for us?

Calendars dedicated to AMG's, and non, or a mixture of both for the 'premiere' run?

I'll be submitting my car when I get to download the pics off my camera.

Not being able to drive it I went to see the car stored away from my home 35 miles today, warmed her over. Took pics, and that was when the calendar idea hit.

We need a central place to put a image/vid/media catalog database of all things w126. I couldn't think of a better place to do it. Or Peachparts if they want to host it there.

In the meantime we can do this:

Post the best pic(s) of your car.

EDIT: Pics posted

And somebody with programming experience could build a "software wallpaper" program for download of all the member's w126 submissions!

Justin, you up for it?

We should have a post where everybody posts there car pictures and we can choose the 12 best.

i know a company that prints them and here are the prices

250 calenders is $969 so $38.76 per calender
500 calenders is $1049 so $20.98 per calender
1000 calenders is $1229 so $12.29 per calender
2500 calenders is $1839 so $7.36

(these prices are for 8.5x5.5 folded, stiched, full color)

Even if pear shaped would be the new body ideal, a truly scary thought.
If you knew what some of us look like, you wouldn't want to endanger your vision.

The sticky at the top of this page is a great source of images for the wallpaper software compilation.

As for the calendar, I would think target price sould be $25 shipped, however I don't think 500 calendars can be sold, unless you all think otherwise? More like 150-200, perhaps. The more people that see it, the more who want to order their own copy (or two!)

Usually how its done is set up a poll page with about 25-30 submissions showing on the first post on the page, whilst the top 12 votes get published on the calendar.

Teutone, each calender could come with a piece of welder's glass enclosed to enhance the viewer's enjoyment.

Seriously though, it would be kind of fun to put a calender together. The only problem is I sometimes change "offices" three times a day and never walk into my one at home.

I'm thinking due to timing (it's May), the calendar could go to 16-months to reflect September 2009 to December 2010. What that means, MORE PICS!

The target for the calendar is $20 shipped, ultimately. CivicTuning posted some prices earlier but the math seems off:

250 calenders is $969 so $38.76 per calender (isn't that $3.88?)
500 calenders is $1049 so $20.98 per calender (isn't that 2.10?)
1000 calenders is $1229 so $12.29 per calender (you get the idea...)
2500 calenders is $1839 so $7.36

Worst case, if the calendar doesn't happen due to costs and not enough takers, the software wallpaper compilation would be a nice consolation prize.

Dark - LOVE the last version... Can I have the plans?

Once I get the Full AMG Suspension in and the stance is corrected, I will submit My AMG. As it is with the stance AFU, No...

And with the new wheels on. Either the OZ 3's or the Penta's
