Hi,

I've been reading around and from what i understand, Traction control, also known as Accelerated Skid Control (ASR) to prevent wheelspin (a Mercedes first). isAvailable on European models only until the year 1990

Well, my car is 1990 W126.025 M103.981 . and i dont have traction control.

is there a retrofit for it?

Rumor has it, the system is troublesome. Everyone probably going to tell you to not do it

TRC was in its infancy at that time
The system is genrally described as problematic
And even if you did fit it it would be farly antiquated compared to moderen systems

Thanks for the info :) i'll discard the idea.

i'll look for something else to do, maybe the cruse control retrofit, as my car doesn't have cc.

a lot of people who had traction control wish they could remove/disable it.

its not something you want. very problematic
