Hi want to change the spark plug and wires on my m110 989 engine. I know that this engine is on the w123 but I just thought I'd try here first. Anyone know where I can get the parts for this engine. I see stuff for M110 engine but not he 989 version. Can I use any wires that just fit the m110. Also, does anyone know if under my distributor cap/rotor if I have electronic points or regular points?

Also, I get a vibration at 65 mph and over from the engine. Should I assume it's the harmonic balancer?

Thanks for your help.

IMO if the plug wires fit I'd use them. The distributor should have a reluctor in it like the V8's do.
65MPH and "the engine" do not go together. Next time it does it shift into neutral and let off the gas, then see. Or, see what RPM it is doing it at and shift to second and rev to the same RPM. 65MPH is usually where bent rims or tires out of balance come in.
