Does anyone know how difficult it is to remove the covers over the rear speakers? Are there screws holding them in place or do they just snap into place?

I am going to try to run my ipod interface wire through the speaker housing and into the cabin of the car. The placement of the gas tank behind the rear seat makes it impossible to do it any other way.

Thank for any input.

You have access on either side of the gas tank to feed the wire into the cabin area from the trunk. You will need to remove the seat back and bottom cushions.

Of course if you want to just go the speaker opening route there is a writeup here that explains how to remove the covers...they just snap in, no bolts.
