I have a 1994 W124, originally a 2.0L M111.940 , swapped to a 2.2L M111.960.
Currently has the 2.2L and a 722.4 transmission.

I've found a nice M111.944 kompressor engine with 90k km from a W202 but it comes with a manual.
My question is, can I still use the 722.4 or do i need a 722.6?

Thanks in advance

You can keep the 722.4. you will need a flex plate with the right pattern for your ECU. Also the intake manifold may be swapped so as to have the mechanism for the Bowden cable to the gear.

What ECU will you use, this determines the direction you will take
