I know these are hard to find with lower mileage under 150,000 would be nice, I'd like a 5cyl turbo, I'd rather stay away from the 6.
I'm in Massachusetts, i'm not picky about the model or year, just the condition of the car.

Why would you want the 5cyl over the 6cyl engine? The 6cyl engine had alot more power and lasted alot longer too. The 5cyl was actually a 2.5L engine and derived all of it's power from the turbo. MBUSA relabeled the 250D and called it the 300D in the States so they wouldn't loose thier "status".

are your '87 300Ds 5s or 6s?

87s are I6 3.0 turbo. To my knowledge, thats the only year for that combo in the US on the W124.
