Is this a misprint, "Hinesburg Auto Sales will finance up to a $1000 on a vehicle, with a minimum payment of $50 per week."??
Finance only up to a grand??? Must be a high-class type establishment. Perhaps this is the most 'expensive' car to ever grace their lot.

Again, a standard MB car with a body kit. Unless you can snare some young male based on 'willy factor' alone, a 'kit' doesn't add to an old car's value. Basically, it was the owner's folly. Dealer will take less than $4k, trust me.

i love the coupe but...

kev
i love w124 coupes but this one has issues. i was actually looking at it before it came to that dealer. it basically count not start. the previous seller was a young kid so i gave him tips, but it still didnt start. so i guess he used it as a trade in to that dealership. its the closest coupe to me- but i dont want a problem car, i have been blessed with 5 good cars - 3 w124's a civic and an isuzu trooper. all are 70% fully mission capable (FMC) the next closer one is about 85 miles

1991 Mercedes-Benz E-Class 300CE, $5,950 - Cars.com

i would trade my 260e and 300e for 300ce's without the amg's of course

Hmmmmm....don't know anything about cab values. They all seem quite high to me, but then I really don't know. I realize this is not sacrosanct, but I've never liked the lines of the 124 cab....truly subjective and in the eye of the beholder. Seems like though, you guys who go for the cabs, REALLY love the lines and that's cool.;)

Now, give me a real AMG Hammer from the late 80's or early 90's and I got 'willy factor'.;) Or better yet, a real Hammer wagon (*pants*)....

I love coupes too. I was lucky to get mine (would have been happy with a nice 300E) when it had a problem the PO didn't understand. Took me two or three months to figure out the cause of the problem and when I did, it was a $10 part they gave me for FREE cause they laughed so hard! 300CE which runs perfect like a swiss watch, is now in the warm, dry garage (next to my 7 series classic BMW) under grey wool blankets, it's suposed to be sunny here this weekend so we're going for a cruise! I almost let the wifey drive it in the rain today cause I forgot to leave her keys for the 190E 2.6 but she postponed her shopping trip. Thank God!! I was driving today in my chevy pickup truck, my rain vehicle, and stopped to let a black 300CE out of a parking lot. Haha!

Sounds like some Mickey Mouse shift kit was installed by the previous Neon boy racer. That should cut the life of the transmission down by half, if it's not shot by now....
