W124 cable

I recently bought a 1995 300D W124. I don't know what this part is so I can order it. I know I can get the info here. The car is hard shifting on all gears, could it be this? I see it goes tp the vacuum box, but it could be a wrong connection, I bought it like this.

Try and find it ureself go to this site and put your cars vin number in the box 7 Zap.com
