I recently bought a 1995 300D W124. I don't know what this part is so I can order it. I know I can get the info here. The car is hard shifting on all gears, could it be this? I see it goes tp the vacuum box, but it could be a wrong connection, I bought it like this.

i stated that it goes to the vacuum box, but what I see inside the black box is the air filter. Wrong connection?

It is the bellows for the mixer flap. You can get a new one from your local MB dealer

That's the specific name? Do you have a part number?

it is connected to this, part number 0015408687, below the air filter box.
