I have a 1983 230E W123 model and I am trying to replace the armrest in the centre, any advice on how to do this?

There's a cap on the side (on my car it's the LHS of the arm rest, which is mounted on the RHS seat) which you have to pry off to get access to the bolt. Loosen the bolt, and Bob's your uncle.

I can't remember the size.
