Yep. Minus those extra badges and other assorted crappery, that would be a nice example of a 200D.say what you will but minus the hood ornament I like it.
You can buy all sorts of adhesive automotive trim.. different finishes, sizes, styles, etc.. It's probably the same as all the ghetto cruisers you see with every exterior line trimmed in "chrome", just more tastefully done. That, of course, is a matter of personal taste and opinion!I kinda want that chrome edged wood trim. How can I get my hands on that?
The dash trim could be using the mounts/backing for the black plastic trim, with wood or "wood grain" trim attached. Wouldn't mind finding one like the piece around the shifter boot on the console.I kinda want that chrome edged wood trim. How can I get my hands on that?
Modifying is one thing, but rebadging is something else. IMO this is like installing the Rolls Royce body kit on an air-cooled Bug. That doesn't make a VW a Rolls Royce, and this car still isn't a Maybach.I think it's fine. I've grown up modifying vehicles to my taste or need. Someone's interpretation of a theme, why not, what if?
