Did you ever find an answer to your question? I am wondering also. A buddy of mine is selling W124 3rd rows and I was wondering too if they would work. Let me know...CURIOUS!!!!

I'm going to guess "no". The 124 is wider than the 123, including on the inside.

There is no way that they will fit. Every bit of the third row seat setup is sized to fit into wells in the cargo area. The OP has since obtained a nice third row seat setup from my car, and I have another third row seat setup (with all the bits including C-pillars, seat belts, etc) available. Palomino, S. Cal pickup strongly preferred.

IS a 124 wagon wider than a 123 wagon??? It sure doesn't look wider or larger in any way.....
